Multi-Wavelength Comparison of
3C273
This three-panel image shows the jet blasting out of
the core of quasar 3c273. The scale on all three images
is the same (about 10 arcseconds from one of the jet to
the another.) This comparative display demonstrates the
different intensities discovered in various regimes of
the electromagnetic spectrum in this jet. From left to
right, the images are optical (HST), X-ray (Chandra),
and radio (MERLIN).
