During the last week the observing schedule was replanned to include
an observation of SAX J1808.4-3658 that was approved as a fast
turn-around Target Of Opportunity (TOO). Loads were replanned and
uplinked on Jun 6. An observation of Abell 3667 was shortened to
accommodate the new observation, and the impacted observing time will
be rescheduled.
A real-time procedure was completed on Jun 4 as part of a diagnosis of a stuck-on heater located on the Optical Bench Assembly (OBA) in Zone 50. The results indicate that the likely source of additional power is the prime and not the redundant heater bus. The increase in temperature of the OBA near the stuck-on heater is 3-4 deg F, and is considered insufficient to impact operations. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of M81 coordinated with ground observations. |
