Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 22 August 2014 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Chandra passed through the fourteenth, fifteenth and sixteenth (and final) eclipses of the season on Aug 16, 19 and 21 respectively, with nominal power and thermal performance. Real-time procedures were executed on Aug 22 to disable SCS-29 and to dump and clear the EPS glitch counters as post-eclipse season actions.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of SGR 1935+2154, which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time TOO on Aug 7, and an observation of NGC 3256 coordinated with NuSTAR.
