During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. Of note this week was the release on Jun 16 of version 4.6.5 of the Contributed Scripts and Modules package. Included in the release are new scripts to create optical light curves from the aspect camera of observations, provide an on-screen summary of the status bits set for rows and their meaning, and create an image from an event file bounded by the sky limits of an FOV file, as well as bug fixes and updates to existing scripts. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes observations of PSR B1259-63, which were accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time TOO on Jun 16, an observation of SXP 1062, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on Jun 3 and is coordinated with Swift, observations of GJ 436 and NGC 5548 coordinated with HST, and a calibration observation of Cyg X-3 coordinated with XMM-Newton and SWIFT. |
