During the last week the observing schedule was replanned to incorporate observations of GRO J1744-28, which were accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time TOO on Mar 22. Scheduled observations of HESS J1809-193 were impacted and will be rescheduled in future weeks. Of note last week was a site visit to the Chandra Operations Control Center on Mar 24-27 of the NASA Astrophysics Division Senior Review for Operating Missions. Also of note this week was the release on Mar 26 of CALDB 4.6.1. This update includes ACIS time-dependent gain corrections for the period Nov 2014 through Jan 2014 and new versions of the HRC-I background event lists. For details see: http://cxc.cfa.harvard.edu/caldb/downloads/Release_notes/CALDB_v4.6.1.html The schedule of targets for the DDT-TOO replan and next week is shown below and includes an observation of NGC 5548 coordinated with HST and on observation of Sgr A* coordinated with the VLA. |
