During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. A real-time procedure was used to monitor the momentum unload that was executed from the on-board command loads on Mar 10; the unload performance was nominal. A second real-time procedure was executed on Mar 10 to command ACIS to dump the flight software from EEPROM. The dump will be compared to images maintained on the ground, which is an initial step in preparation for an upcoming planned patch to ACIS Flight Software. Of note this week, the Chandra Cycle 16 proposal deadline was Mar 13 at 6pm EDT. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of NuSTAR J164115-4632.3, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on Mar 10, observations of Ark 120 coordinated with XMM-Newton, an observation of Swift J1357.2-0933 coordinated with the VLA, and an observation of PG 1004+130 coordinated with XMM and HST. |
