Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 1 October 2010 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Of note this week was the release on Sep 28 of CALDB 4.3.1. This update includes ACIS time-dependent gain corrections for the period May-July 2010 and upgraded ACIS-8 BKGRND files. For details see: http://cxc.harvard.edu/caldb/downloads/Release_notes/CALDB_v4.3.1.html

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of TDE_PS1_1, which was approved as a target of opportunity on Sep 15.
