Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 5 November 2004 9.00am EST

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

An image release was made on Oct 29 of the core region of the galaxy M87. The image reveals three rings associated with the galaxy's core and jet. For details see: http://chandra.harvard.edu/photo/2004/m87b/

The schedule of targets for a special two week load is shown below and includes a series of full orbit observations of the Chandra Deep Field South (CDF-S).
