During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as
planned.
Chandra passed through the final three eclipses of the 2008 winter eclipse season on Dec 19, 23 and 25 with nominal power and thermal performance. A real-time procedure was completed on Dec 26 to disable SCS 29 due to the end of the eclipse season. The Mission Planning team worked hard to develop the 2 week schedule to cover the holiday period as shown below. The schedule includes an observation of NGC 3227 coordinated with Suzaku and HST. |
