During the last week, Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

The observatory passed through the first Earth eclipse of the Fall 2000 season at 11:04pm EDT on 30 Aug (55.5 min) with nominal power and thermal performance. The second eclipse will occur at 2:26pm EDT on 2 Sept (76.0 min), the third at 5:56pm EDT on 5 Sept (84.1 min) and the fourth at 9:30pm EDT on 7 Sept.

A real-time procedure was run on 30 Aug to perform a routine EIA Sequencer self-check.
