During the last week the observing schedule was replanned to include
an 85 Ks observation of 4U 1812-12 that was accepted as a fast
turn-around Target Of Opportunity (TOO) on Feb 15. Loads were
replanned and uplinked on Feb 17 for an observation on Feb 18.
Observations of UGC 4203, RX J1131-1231, Carina South Pillars, IGR J18485-0047, IGR J18308-1232 and XTE J1810-197 were impacted by the TOO and will be rescheduled in a later load.
A Chandra image release was issued on Feb 21 of the pulsar in Kes 75. The Chandra data combined with RXTE timing measurements indicate behavior that suggests the object may fill a gap between that of pulsars and magnetars. For futher details see: http://chandra.harvard.edu/photo/2008/kes75/ The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below. |
