During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. A real-time procedure was executed on Feb 9 to perform part of an annual check-out of A-side MUPS thrusters, which are selected for use when Chandra is in its safe-mode configuration. Thruster A4 was fired and performed nominally. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of RXJ0440.9+4431, which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity on Feb 1. |
