Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 9 November 2018 9.00am EST

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A real-time procedure was executed on Nov 6 to perform a full-frame dark current readout of the Aspect Camera Assembly CCD during a standard one-hour comm pass. A second real-time procedure was executed on Nov 7 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer. A third real-time procedure was executed on Nov 8 to uplink three flight software patches. The first patch was to update the gyro calibration misalignment matrix, the second patch was to update the initialization values of the gyro bias vector, and the third patch increased the limit for the on-board HRMA average temperature health check. An additional real-time procedure was executed on Nov 9 to dump OBC-A memory as a follow-up to the patches. The dump will be used to update the baseline memory images maintained on the ground.

On note this week was the release on Nov 5 of CXCDS version 10.7 for standard processing. The release features support for the CentOS-7 operating system which is now the baseline for processing machines.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below.
