During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as
planned.
A real-time procedure was completed on 17 August to update the on-board ephemeris. A Chandra image release was issued on 17 August describing recent observations that have revealed new details about the fiery ring surrounding the stellar explosion that produced Supernova 1987A.
