Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 12 April 2013 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A Chandra press release was issued on Apr 9 as a NASA press release announcing the selection of the 2013 Einstein Fellows. The Fellows will conduct research related to NASA's Physics of the Cosmos program, which aims to expand our knowledge of the origin, evolution, and fate of the Universe. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes observations of Comet 2011 L4 (PANSTARRS), which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time TOO on Mar 14, and observations of NGC 5204 and GJ 436 coordinated with XMM and HST respectively.
