Operations CXO Status Report

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. A Chandra image release of the spiral galaxy NGC 3079 was made on 19 February. The Chandra X-ray image has been combined with Hubble's optical image to compose this stunning picture. The observing schedule for next week is shown below and includes three observations of Jupiter coordinated with the Hubble Space Telescope.
