The Latest New Thing

If you haven't noticed by now, we like new things around here. In fact, it almost pains us to see something out there that's fun and exciting that we’re not a part of. So to remedy that, we just try to get Chandra involved with everything we can. The latest, in our humble opinion, is very cool.

3d wall

Joining such sites as Yahoo, YouTube, Google Images, Flickr and more, Chandra now has a new dynamic 3-D wall. This allows for a quick downloading, fast scanning version of the complete library of images on chandra.harvard.edu. You can view and access hundreds of images with lightning fast speed. You can even run it on your iPhone. Drag and drop to share Chandra images with your friends and you can click on any image to read more. Coming next is the Chandra video 3-D wall. The 3-D wall is available for Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari web browsers. Stay tuned.
